Acierto means “a right choice.” It helps California SDP families compare Financial Management Services (FMS) providers side by side, using real, sourced, and dated facts instead of marketing claims. Families can explore the three FMS models, browse a directory of individual providers, draft questions to send an FMS directly, and get plain-language guidance on switching providers. Acierto is free to use and fully bilingual.
SDP Companion
SDP Companion supports families through the whole Self-Determination Program journey, helping them get set up when they first enroll, stay ready ahead of their annual renewal, and manage their approved Individual Budget every day in between. ts real-time budget dashboard, automatic FMS statement reading, and AI Spending Plan Advisor replace the spreadsheets, memory, and delayed statements most families rely on today, explaining what a proposed change means and what to do next. SDP Companion is funded through a family's own SDP budget, billed through their FMS as part of routine plan expenses, so families are never charged out of pocket, with a professional edition available for Independent Facilitators managing multiple client plans.
